Upgrading and downgrading subscription plans

Upgrading a plan

At any given time you can choose to upgrade to a higher Subscription plan (for example from Basic to Business). When you do – you will immediately gain all the benefits coming from the chosen higher plan. The payment date will be changed to the day of the month you upgraded your plan.

If you upgraded your plan in the middle of having a lower plan activated – your first payment for the higher plan will be decreased proportionally by the amount of how much unspent days there were left in your lower plan. 

Example shown above: You purchased Basic Plan on the 1st of January and then on 16th you decided to upgrade to the Business Plan. You will get a 2,33 EUR discount for the first payment because of the unused part of the previous plan.

This will cause an unusual amount on your invoice on the first payment period, later on the amounts will be according to the Pricing.

Lost Discount

Due to technical side of how payments work, we are unable to refund money (meaning to transfer money back to you through the payment system). This is why we will give you discounts for upgrade transactions (for parts of your subscription plans which you will not use, as the new plan you choose to upgrade to will apply instantly). However in some rare cases is is possible that the calculated discount will exceed the price of your new plan. It might take place when you have a yearly subscription and choose to pick a higher plan with monthly billing (for example you have Basic Yearly and choose to upgrade to Business Monthly).

In that rare case if your payment should be the minimal amount of money we can charge for a transaction: EUR 1 or USD 1 as we have to charge it to process the transaction properly.

Example: you have Basic yearly for $130 and have spent half of the subscription – 6 months. This means you have $65 of unused Basic. If in that case you upgrade to Business but with a monthly payment it will cost:
$26 (Business monthly price) – $26 (the maximum discount from unspent Basic yearly) + $1(minimal amount we can charge) = $1 for the transaction.

Downgrading a plan

If you decide to downgrade to a lower (for example from Advanced to Business) plan it will be activated when your higher plans current period expires. So the better plan you paid for earlier will continue until is spent entirely. Then you will lose all the benefits coming from the higher plan.

Example: You had a Business plan purchased and the last payment was processed on 1st of January. On 16th of January you downgraded to Basic plan, your Basic plan will become active on the 1st of February and until then your account will be in Business plan. 

It is possible for your data stored on Evryplace Drive (360° photospheres, pictures, videos and presentations) will exceed the limit of a downgraded plan. Then you will not be able to

• upload any new files
• publish new presentations until you free enough storage.

Your virtual tours are safe

Do not worry. Your virtual tours and all the data are always safe even in case of exceeding your storage space. We do not delete anything automatically, but downgrading a plan will be unpublished your tours in case your data exceed your GB limit.
